Recognized By One’s Peers

June 10, 2010

I’m proud to announce that the Association of Women Attorneys and the Mexican American Bar Association have endorsed our campaign! I am humbled by their support as I feel there is no greater honor than to be recognized by one’s peers.

June 30th is an important public day for our campaign. It is the first financial reporting deadline since the primary and it must demonstrate that we have the support and financial resources to win in November. Please consider giving $25, $50, or $100 today to help us make a strong showing.

Since I became the Democratic nominee for Judge of the 313th Juvenile District Court, I have been working hard to make sure that Democrats, Republicans, and Independents hear about my commitment to be tough on crime and smart with kids. The voters of Harris County know that we need more resources for our children who are at risk in the delinquency cases and in the children’s protective services cases.

Please consider contributing to ensure that we can take our message to the voters.

I have worked hard the last ten years exclusively as a juvenile attorney to develop more resources for the children I have represented. As a judge, I can do even more to develop resources. I feel confident that you agree that we need judges who have that type of experience and concern for our children in Harris County.

Thank you so much for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Natalie Oakes

P.S. Please contribute whatever you can. Even small donations make big differences in judicial races.
